uring Adam Leeb's
first quarter-century,
the 29-year-old West
Bloomfield native has gone from
tinkering toddler to Tamarack camper
to MIT undergrad. Now he has
returned to his Michigan roots.
He lives Downtown, works in
Midtown and is making something
new that already has international
interest.
Even at his bar mitzvah in the late
'90s, Leeb had an affinity for build-
ing electronic devices. He pursued
those passions at West Bloomfield
High School as robotics captain.
MIT and mechanical engineer-
ing made sense for him. Then, like
many peers, he got a New York job
in finance.
But then he took a less-traveled
route — returning in his 20s to
become an entrepreneur in his
hometown, where his parents and
sister and extended family still
reside. A decade after earning Eagle
Scout for a service project that

serving in the Michigan State
Legislature are Jewish, down from
what was likely a historic record of six from
the previous session. Two are incumbents:
Rep. Mike Callton, R-Barry County, and
Rep. Andy Schor, D-Lansing. Rep. Jeremy
Moss, D-Southfield, and Rep. Robert
Wittenberg, D-Oak Park, are youthful mem-
bers of the legislature's freshmen class.
