90, of Farmington Hills,

ing family members and friends.

BEATRICE "BEN' SHULMAN, 95, of West

Bloomfield, died Jan. 31, 2015.
She was a member of NSamat.
Mrs. Shulman is survived by her husband
of 74 years (as of Dec. 22) David Shulman;
son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Fran
Shulman of Farmington Hills; daughter and
son-in-law, Carol and George Kimeldorf
of Dallas, Texas; sister and brother-in-law,
Harriet and Louis Penfil of Baltimore, Md.;
sister-in-law, Betty Shear; grandchildren,
Brian Shulman, Joyce and Jessie Spears, Joel
and Emily Just; great-grandchildren, Erin
Spears, Owen Just, Julia Just; nieces, neph-
ews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Shulman was the loving sister of the
late Meyer Shear; dear sister-in-law of the
late Harry and the late Beatrice Shulman,
the late Sophie and the late Sid Wolf, the late
Frances and the late Larry Zeid.
Contributions may be made to a charity
of one's choice. Services were held at the
Oppenheim Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery
in Ferndale. Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

JOEL WIENER, 84, of

Muskegon, died Jan. 1,
2015, on the 62nd anni-
versary of his marriage to
his beloved Jean, who
died in August 2014.
He was the loving
father of David (Fran
Wiener
Cook), Daniel (Brenda),
Mike (Lonnie), Naomi
Seyferth (David) and
Josiah "Shay" (Linda). He was the proud
grandfather of 13 and adoring great-grand-
father of three. He is also survived by nieces,
nephews and treasured friends.
Mr. Wiener was preceded in death by his
parents, Josiah and Pauline (Tepper) Wiener,
and all of his siblings.
Services were handled by Clock Funeral
Home, with burial in Muskegon. Memorials

MARSHALL "SHELLY" WEITZ, 89,

former Detroiter of Scottsdale, Ariz., died
Jan. 27, 2015.
He graduated from Central High School
in Detroit and served in the United States
Navy during World War II.

daughter-in-law, Mark
Weitz and Holli Levitsky;
grandchildren, Sara

Wineman; many loving nieces, nephews,
cousins, other family members and life-
long friends. The family is grateful for the
loving care provided by the Hernandez
family, including Leti and Estella.
Mr. Weitz was predeceased by his
beloved soul-mate of more than 60 years,
Ruthie Weitz; he was the dear son of
the late Anna and the late Joseph Weitz;
nephew of the late Sonny Eliot, whom he
considered a brother and mentor.
