Ashley Ryan Lynch, daughter of Carolyn and Tim Lynch,
will lead the congregation in prayer on the occasion of her
bat mitzvah on Saturday, Feb. 14, at Temple Israel in
0 West Bloomfield. Sharing in her celebration will be her
siblings Jessica and Ryan. She is the grandchild of Phyllis
and the late Fred Cheiman, and Jerry and Martie Lynch.
Ashley is a seventh-grade student at Abbott Middle
School
in West Bloomfield. Her most meaningful mitzvah
Lynch
experience involved participating weekly in a mentorship
program at Scotch Elementary, where she worked with individual students
and assisted the teacher.

their 50th anniversary at a brunch
attended by their children Julie and Joe
George, and Robyn and Kurt Golarz. Their
grandchildren, Sammy and Jessica George,
and Braedon and Grayson Golarz, rounded
out the table and made a loving toast to the
couple. Bill and Donna, who met while liv-
ing on the same block in Oak Park, look for-
ward to a luncheon in the spring for other
relatives and hosted by their children.
