Israeli Doctor To Talk
About IDF Experiences
Maj. Avi Benov, M.D., an Israel
Defense Forces medical officer will
speak at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 8, at
the Holocaust Memorial Center in
Farmington Hills.
Benov, who has served as a physi-
cian in the IDF since 2003, is a fel-
lowship recipient of the American
Healthcare Professionals & Friends
for Medicine in Israel (APF), whose
Michigan chapter is sponsoring the
event.
Benov has completed many chal-
lenging assignments including those
of paratrooper battalion surgeon,
paratrooper brigade surgeon and
special operation forces surgeon.
