After graduating from the University
of Michigan in 2009, Hodari moved to
Los Angeles and worked in marketing
and public relations.
"My husband was my high school
sweetheart, and after reconnecting
while living apart, I decided to move
back home. I started working out at
Equilibrium when I first came back
and realized my all-around love for the
studio drove my interest to join their
team. I was a dancer at Star Trax for
seven years, and
my experience there
ignited my desire to interact with
people in a fun and fit way."
Hodari has taught Equilibrium's
Xtend Barre class for two years and is
currently furthering her education in
STOTT Pilates. She plans to lead more
classes in the future, building on her
current business focus at the studio
that encompasses marketing and client
relations.
The Wedding Boot Camp program
has grown in popularity, she said, and
more than a dozen of the
packages
were sold after the announcement
of her own engagement. Many of
her bridesmaids participated in the
program, and working out with them,
she said, helped her feel motivated for
her own ceremony. Also, she said, three
other brides had weddings at the same
time and participated in the fitness
routines.
