Aimee (Kraft) and Matthew Spatzner of Brooklyn, N.Y.,
are thrilled to announce the birth of their son, Andrew
Morgan Spatzner (Chanan Eliyahu). Ecstatic first-time
grandparents are Karen and Jeffrey Kraft of Farmington
Hills, and Carol and Paul Spatzner of Bardonia, N.Y.
Andrew ("Drew") was named in loving memory of his
maternal great-grandfather Alex Kraft and his maternal
Spatzner
great-aunt Marilyn Kraft Goldsmith. Andrew's Hebrew
name is in memory of his late paternal great-grandmother
Hannah Silverman (Chanan) and his maternal great-grandfather Earle V.
Kanners (Eliyahu). Andrew is also the great-grandson of the late Helen
Kanners and the late Ella Kraft. His paternal great-grandfather Harold
Silverman resides in Bardonia, N.Y.

called to the Torah
as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Jan. 17, at
Congregation
Alterman
Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. Joining
in her celebration were her sister
Adina and grandparents Roberta and
Emery Grosinger, and Sharon and
Mickey Alterman.
Noa is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Of her many
mitzvah projects, she enjoyed volun-
teering at the Almost Home Animal
Shelter.

Imerman, son of

Imerman, will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Jan. 24, at
Temple Israel in
!merman
West Bloomfield.
Sharing in his cele-
bration will be his siblings Rachel,
Benjamin and Elliott. His proud
grandparents are Judee and Sal
Herman, and Connie and Michael
Sanford. He is the great-grandchild
of Fanny Herman and the late Ernie
Herman, Betty and Fred Patt, Jessie
and Lewis Sanford, and Caroline and
Richard Simpson.
Jeremy is homeschooled. Among
his many mitzvah experiences, he
found the most meaningful to be
volunteering with Pack 105 Grayson
Elementary Cub Scouts to help with
their Popcorn Kickoff event, setting
up and running games at the event
as well as helping with cleanup.

his bar mitzvah. He

is the son of Dr.
David and Michelle
Kam and the brother of Josh and
Noah. Proud grandparents are Dr. Eli
Kam, Mrs. Flora Kam, and Dr. Michael
and Sharon Berkovic. Zach is fortunate
to have his great-grandma Jennie Fried
and great-grandpa Hertz Hakim to
share in his simchah.
Zach is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
He has enjoyed his time volunteer-
ing at the Friendship Circle in West
Bloomfield.

Sharing in her sim-
chah will be her sisters Jordyn and
Lindsey. Barri's proud grandparents
are Gail and Henry Sandweiss, and
Georgann and Billy Wolf. She is also
the granddaughter of the late Barry
Goldman.
Barri is in seventh grade at Norup
International School in Oak Park.
