Beaumont Program For
Breast Cancer Survivors

Just because a person's cancer treatments
have stopped, doesn't mean their care
should, too. Beaumont Health System's
Cancer Center has opened a new Cancer
Survivorship Clinic for female breast can-
cer survivors in the Rose Cancer Center at
Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
Patients will be provided educational
materials about diagnosis, treatment and

menorah! Menorahs have a
long and ancient history begin-
ning with the Biblical artisan, Bezalel,
who created the first six-branched lamp
for use in the First Temple. After this
point in history, menorahs have had an
honored presence in temples and homes
for centuries.
But, did you know that this official
symbol of the Jewish nation was also
presented to U.S. President Harry
Truman in 1951?
That year, on the president's birth-
day, Israel's Prime Minister David
Ben-Gurion traveled to the United
States and presented President
Truman with a handcrafted Menorah
from 1767. As a symbol of peace,
prosperity and cooperation between
the two nations, this handcrafted
