ANNA GARFIELD, 84,

of Southfield, died Dec.
10, 2014.
She is survived by her
beloved husband, Henry
Garfield; daughters and
son-in-law, Lynn Baum
of West Bloomfield,
Garfield
Melanie and Steve
Lefkofsky of West
Bloomfield; son, Mitchel
Garfield of Waterford; sisters-in-law, Rose
Stein, Hilda (Tony) Garfield; grandchil-
dren, Halley, Mathew and Jake Lefkofsky,
Seth, Daniel and Brad Baum; many loving
nieces, nephews, other family members
and friends.
Mrs. Garfield was the sister of the late
Fred Stein; sister-in-law of the late Dede
(the late Arnold) Goldenhar.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment was held at
Clover Hill Park Cemetery in Birmingham.

ELFRIEDE GLANCY,

90, of Los Angeles,
Calif, formerly of
Michigan, died Dec. 11,
2014.
She and her fam-
ily were in hiding in
southern France during
Glancy
World War II and then
came to the United
States in 1948.
Mrs. Glancy sold collectible china and
was also a real estate broker. She and her
husband lived in Southfield and were very
philanthropic.
Mrs. Glancy is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Lionel and Jennifer
Glancy of Tarzana, Calif.; daughter and
son-in-law, Lilly and Howard Jacobson of
Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren, Alexandra
Glancy, Eli Glancy, Jonah Glancy, Natalie
Jacobson, Emma Jacobson, Isabel
Jacobson, Mia Jacobson; other loving rela-
tives, friends; devoted caregivers, Teresa,
Sharon, Sara and Carolyn.
Mrs. Glancy was the beloved wife for
47 years of the late Irving Glancy; dear
sister and sister-in-law of the late Wolf
Grunbaum, the late Jacques Grunbaum,
the late Lilly Grunbaum, the late Lina and
the late Jack Shanfield, the late Hannah
and the late David Kamin.
