"Best Of" at '70s-themed party.

Welcome to the

hose walking into the Corner Bar at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham
on Dec. 2 might have thought they were taking a step back in time at
the Jewish News' "Best Of" party. The theme was the 1970s, and leisure
suits, bell-bottomed pants and go-go boots could be seen on many attendees
enjoying drinks, hors d'oeuvres from the Townsend and music from DJ Whip.
Jewish News COO Kevin Browett congratulated the professionals and businesses
who were chosen best by readers and thanked the many advertisers who make
the JN possible week in and week out.
"The JN prides itself on having served the Jewish community for more than 70
years with quality journalism, heartwarming stories and information to improve
their lives," he said. "We don't do it alone, however. We can't do it without you,
our partners:'
