Jewish Family Service Wins Praise In Contest Jewish Family Service (JFS) was among the four finalists in the Crain's Detroit "Best Managed Nonprofit" competition for 2014. A panel of judges ultimately named JFS partner Common Ground as the winner. JVS and Leader Dogs for the Blind were the other finalists. The contest's finalists and winner emphasized two JFS exemplary initia- tives.
