Art Leaders Gallery and Custom Framing offers personal service, quality art that ensures your home will reflect your taste.

A

rt Leaders Gallery, located in the
heart of West Bloomfield, is one of
Michigan's leading fine art galleries
representing high-quality artwork by
international, national and local Michigan
artists as well as emerging new talents.
Its exclusive inventory represents a wide
variety of styles and mediums encompassing
contemporary to traditional artwork in all
price ranges. The only thing more vivid
than the explosion of color is the variety
of artwork. No matter your style, taste or
budget, the gallery is certain to provide
attractive pieces for your home or office.
The mere design of the 10,000-square-foot
gallery entices visitors to wander through and
explore the local and international collection
of art from an impressive array of talented
artists. Art Leaders represents more than 300
artists, featuring original paintings, limited
editions, sculptures and hand-blown glass
as well as unique home accessories and gift
items. Its varied selection represents diversity
and reflects a vibrant and provocative energy.
Owners Bonnie and Jason Mansour have
been in the business for more than 20 years.
Being an artist herself, Bonnie's eye is trained
to tap into really good talent, which she often
finds while traveling worldwide. Frequently,

she and Jason bring back pieces with clients'
personal taste and style in mind. They also
can reach out to their artists for commissions
to fit a client's needs.
They pride themselves on providing
personal service, including in-home design
consultations that allow staff to listen to
clients and understand their residential or
corporate space needs.
"What sets us apart is that everyone on
our team has an interior design or fine art
background," Bonnie says. "It's the best of
both worlds. Interior designers, architects
and collectors also come to us for art
selection. We give 200 percent. We eat, live
and breathe this every day. If we don't have
it, we will find it. It is our mission to bring
our love of art into our clients' homes and
offices."
It's a successful goal because 90 percent
of Art Leaders' business is repeat or from
referrals. The gallery's outstanding reputation
for quality, service and price point has
attracted clients from all over the world as
well as artists happy to be exclusive to the
Mansours.
"I don't feel they are first for business
or profit, but first to make us connoisseurs
of fine art," said Dr. Alan Cohn of West

Bloomfield. "They do this by anticipating
our interests, understanding our taste and
fulfilling our needs. More important, they act
like they are connoisseurs of our collection
and take an active interest. They are the only
company I know that will come in and stage
the art, hang it and make sure it is done
properly and in the proper place."
Art Leaders also has a custom framing
service inside the gallery with an extensive
selection of museum-quality materials.
The gallery is structured with a large open
space to host charitable events, fundraisers,
festive celebrations, elegant social events and
private parties because the Mansours feel is
it important to give back to the neighboring
community.
"We try to make clients feel comfortable
and involved," Bonnie says. "This is not an
intimidating atmosphere, but warm and
welcoming."
