Mrs Weiner was also active with the Weiner senior program at the Federation of Grand Rapids. She is survived by her son and daughter- in-law, Arnold and Shira Shapiro Weiner of Royal Oak; grandchildren, Matthew and Elisabeth Mirer Weiner, Eve Keller; great-grandson, Mason Keller; sister-in- law, Esther Kleiman; nieces and nephews, Howard and Judy Halpern, Steve Halpern, Jan and Annette Weaver Kleiman, Leslie Kleiman, Lynne Spencer, Karen and Paul Belfer. SHIRLEY YOUNG, 89, of Garland, Texas, died Nov. 18, 2014. She is sur- vived by her daughters, Karen Dianne Young and Gayle Anita Young of Garland; brother, Simond "Sam" Taylor of Young Ann Arbor. Shirley was a devoted mother and sister who loved her family above all else. Also a dog lover, she was eased during her final years by her devoted companions. Mrs. Young was predeceased by her hus- band, Morris Hyman Young; sons, Mitchell Howard Young and Gordon Young; broth- er, Aaron Taylor; sister, Lillian Goldman.
