Business Bridge (MIBB) sup-
porters attended the first
Ambassador Awards Dinner at the Detroit
Athletic Club on Sept. 18 to honor Chuck
Newman with the MIBB Impact Award
and General Dynamics Land Systems with
the MIBB Bridge Builder Award.
"What started out as an idea by Chuck
Newman in Ann Arbor has now spread
throughout Michigan and Israel," said
Steve Cole, dinner chairman.
Alan Muskovitz served as emcee, roast-
ing his brother-in-law Chuck Newman
with jokes, impersonations and barbs.
Hannan Lis, MIBB president, spoke of
the growth, important work and impact
MIBB has had in seven years. From
Newman's vision to help bring jobs and
economic development to Metro Detroit,
research, economic growth and business
opportunity has flourished both in Israel
and Michigan from MIBB's hard work.
MIBB has helped plan and participated
in two Michigan gubernatorial trips to
Israel to strengthen economic ties and
also hired a consulting firm to represent
MIBB in Israel. Also, a full-time business
development associate has been added to
the Bloomfield Hills office. Learn more at
