DR. MYRON SINGER,
Ph.D., 74, of Tamarac,
Fla., passed away Oct. 2,
2014.
He was born in Flint
and lived and practiced
clinical psychology in the

Metro Detroit area most

of his life before retiring
to Florida. In Florida, he
was an adjunct professor at Broward College.
Dr. Singer is survived by his daughter, Sara
Singer; son, Matthew Singer; sister, Ilene
Singer; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard
and Carol Singer; brothers-in-law and sisters-
in-law, Carl and Jeri Spamer, Nancy and Lars
Hansen, and Carole Ruhlman; great-aunts,
Molly Benton and Eleanor Brown; nieces,
nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and
many cousins.
He was the beloved husband of the late
Barbara "Diane" Singer; son of the late Esther
and the late Martin Singer.
Contributions may be made to a charity of
one's choice.

SOPHIE SMILER, 92, of
Farmington Hills, died
Nov. 4, 2014.
She is survived by
her son, Joseph Smiler;
son-in-law, Marc Rich;
grandchildren, David
and Jodi Rich; step-
daughter, Joann Shecter, and her children
and grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-
law, Louis and Lorraine Kanaras, Barbara
Kanaras.
Mrs. Smiler was the beloved wife of the
late Irving Smiler; the devoted mother
of the late Cynthia Rich; the loving sister
of the late Bessie Stopczy, the late Gus
Kanaras and the late George Kanaras.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
