world THE GOLDBERG °IN, Thanksgiving * DISTRIBUTION ,o ■ , This Thanksgiving help us feed our community, one family at a time! 3 New ADL Director Ex-White House official, entrepreneur to succeed Abraham Foxman in July. • 6 j An Important Message from Nate Goldberg and Family, This year, we celebrate the "Double Chai" anniversary of the Goldberg Thanksgiving Distribution. As I reflect on 36 years of Thanksgivings, I'm amazed at the impact this program has had. Over the years, my family and I have watched in awe as the community has rallied around families in need each Thanksgiving. My sister started the program in 1979 to honor my parents, Harry and Jeanette Goldberg, who strongly believed that no family should go hungry. Each year, more and more friends have joined our family in building the program into what it is today. Last year, we provided baskets of healthy kosher foods to more than 120 households. The recipients are homebound older adults, community members with disabilities, and other families assisted by Jewish Family Service. No family should go hungry, especially not on Thanksgiving.
