Charlottesville, Va.,
died Oct. 23, 2014.
She is survived
by her daughter
Klugerman
and son-in-law,
Carole and Dr.
Martin Schock
of Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren,
Pamela and Larry Luskin, Joseph
Schock, and Abby and Bill Jakobowski;
great-grandchildren, Cameron and
Jaden Luskin, and Adeline and Eloise
Jakobowski. Special thanks to her
devoted caregivers, Chanel, Arlyss and
Denise.
Mrs. Klugerman was the beloved
wife of the late Maxwell Klugerman.
Interment was at Hebrew
Cemetery in Charlottesville, Va.

Mrs. Last was the beloved wife of
the late Sam Last; dear sister-in-law

GERALDINE

"GERRY" LEVY,
87, died Oct. 20,

2014
She and her late
husband, Franklin,
were pillars of the
Beth Ahm commu-
Levy
nity, having been
founders of the
Evergreen Jewish
Congregation (one of the original
congregations that became part of
Beth Ahm). Mrs. Levy was a presi-
dent of the sisterhood at Evergreen
Jewish Congregation.
She dedicated more than 40
years of her life to the students and
families of the Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit, where she was
the bookkeeper.
She was also a committed volun-
teer at William Beaumont Hospital
for a number of years, helping
patients and visitors on a regular
basis.
Her children, grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and many friends
will always remember fondly for her
love and affection and her quirkiness
and humor.
Mrs. Levy was the dear mother of
Steven (Monique) Levy and Ellen
(Kenneth) Apsel; loving grandmoth-
er of Carrie (Rabbi Josh) Hearshen,
Dayna (Isaac) Slutsky, Jason Levy,
Blake Levy and Spencer Levy; ador-
ing great-grandmother of Ayelet
Hearshen, Isabel Slutsky and Samuel
Slutsky; dear sister-in-law of Gladys
Allen. She is also survived by her
devoted caregiver, Dyetta Campbell.
Mrs. Levy was the beloved wife of
the late Franklin Levy. She was pre-
deceased by her brothers and sisters:
Shirley Weinbaum, Julius Allen, Jack
Allen, Barney Allen, Rose Monheit,
Edward "Teddy" Allen.
Services were at Hebrew Memorial
Chapel; interment was at Beth Moses
Cemetery in Roseville. Rabbis Josh
Hearshen and Stephen Rubenstein
officiated. Contributions may be
made to Congregation Beth Ahm,
Hillel Day School or a charity of
one's choice.
Arrangements were by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.
