Hadassah Rummage Sale
Is Set For Nov. 18-21
Hadassah will hold its annual rummage sale
on Tuesday, Nov. 18, through Friday, Nov.
21, at Hadassah House, 5030 Orchard Lake
Road in West Bloomfield.
Sale items include clothing for men,
women, children and teens, household
items, electronics, shoes, jewelry, coats,
linens and much more. There also will be a
boutique with high-end clothing and acces-
sories.
Drop-off for the sale runs through Nov.
7. On Nov. 2, assistance will be available for
anyone who needs help with items to donate.
Sale hours will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 18
and 19; 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 20; and 9 a.m.-3
p.m. Nov. 21. On Sunday, Nov. 23, there will
be a bag sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. For infor-

Help Seniors Winterize
Homes At JFS' Fix Up
For the 18th year, Jewish Family
Service and a small army of volun-
teers are helping older adults in need
prepare their houses for winter.
On Nov. 9, JFS will host its
annual Fall Fix Up, beginning at
9:30 a.m. Volunteers will gather
at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield before fanning out to
more than 40 homes for a day of
raking, winterizing and relationship
building. Families, students, commu-
nity groups and volunteers of all ages
are invited.
Also, for the second year, JFS is
hosting young adults in partnership
with Repair the World and NEXTGen
for a day of work at B'nai David
Cemetery in Detroit on Nov. 9.
In addition to support from Home
Depot, Fall Fix Up receives sponsor-
ship from the Deroy Testamentary
Foundation, Walmart, Professional
Parent Care, Universal Bearing
Company and others.

persistent mental illness.
