great-grandchild of Florence Yutzey.

As part of his mitzvah project,

Backpack, which he found to be very

Saturday, Oct. 25.
Leflein
She is the daughter
of Jeffrey and
Laurie Leflein and sister of
Jacob, Elana and Ari. Celebrating on
this occasion will be her proud
grandparents Allan and Mary
Silverman, and William and Raina
Leflein.
Shosh is an eighth-grade student
at Tappan Middle School in Ann
Arbor and a graduate of Hebrew Day
School.
Russell Noah
Presser celebrated
his bar mitzvah as
he read from the
Torah on Saturday,
Oct. 11, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Presser
Southfield. He is
the loving son of
Robyn and Mitchell Presser and
brother of Tyler. He was joined by
his grandparents Marla and Gordon
Silverman, and Isabel and Joe
Presser.
Russell is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Among his many
mitzvah experiences, he found vol-
unteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley
and his twinning program the most
meaningful.
Chase Andrew

called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Oct. 25, at
Temple Israel in
Lichtman

Sharing in the cele-

grandchild of Rita and Robert
Lichtman, and Christine and the late

Middle School in Wixom. For his
mitzvah experience, he volunteered
at Temple Israel's Housing the
Homeless, which he found to be very
meaningful.
Ali Sydney Randel,
daughter of

Michael Randel,
and sister of
Lindsay and Olivia,
was called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-

vah on Saturday,
Oct. 18, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Sharing in her
simchah were proud grandparents
Moreen and Marshall Lett, and Carol
Randel. She is also the granddaugh-
ter of the late Norman Randel.
Ali is an eighth-grade student
at West Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. In the year leading
up to her bat mitzvah, Ali led a paja-
ma drive and collected nearly 400
pairs of new pajamas for children in
need in our community.
