All In The

Family

Dads and daughters
make great business teams.

Judy Greenwald I Special to the Jewish News

here's a real feeling of family in many busi-
nesses — especially those where the family is
the business.
This is certainly true in shops such as Hersh's, Rear
Ends and Sundance Shoes, all in a strip mall known

daughters working together.
The relationships between teams like Harold and
Jessica Rothenberg of women's clothing boutique
Hersh's, Mark and Ariana Blumenfeld of denim retail-
er Rear Ends, Sundance Shoes' Robert Wolk and Katie
Wolk Johnston, and Howard and Marla Tapper Young
of Tapper's Diamonds & Fine Jewelry all show the
rewards and challenges of working day-to-day with
family members.

been accomplished while being keenly aware of the challenges
that lie ahead.
JSL was created from the melding of the former Jewish
Home and Aging Services (JHAS) and Jewish Apartments
and Services (JAS) after more than two years of planning and
development to centralize and streamline services to one of the
nation's largest senior Jewish populations.
