Obituaries
GARY NATER, 63, of
White Lake, died Oct.
6, 2014.
He was an avid fish-
erman and horseback
rider. He loved the out-
doors and his political
debates. He was also a
Nater
sports enthusiast —
Red Wings, Tigers, Pistons — and a die-
hard Lions fan. He had a true appreciation
for music, especially the blues. He admired
his art collection. He was a kind soul.
Mr. Nater is survived by his beloved
wife, Kris Nater; sons and daughter-in-law,
Charles and Fannet Nater of Houston,
Texas, Andrew Nater of Ypsilanti; brother,
Kenny Nater of Livonia; sister and brother-
in-law, Marcie and Ted Lipman of West
Bloomfield; loving nieces, nephews, other
family members and friends.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment took place at
Clover Hill Park Cemetery in Birmingham.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

Mr. Moss was the son of the late

took place at the Beth Moses Cemetery

Mary D. Henry.
He was the devoted son of the late
Philip Poyle and the late Ann Honigman
Poyle; the dear son-in-law of the late
James Henry.

HENRY RAISER,
89, of West
Bloomfield, died Oct.
11, 2014.
When he first
moved to the United
States, he went to
Minnesota and
Raiber
opened a diner. He
then sold it and
moved to Detroit,
where he opened a
slaughterhouse and
sold kosher and non-
kosher meats. When
he sold that business,
he joined the rest
of the family in their business, American
Jewelry and Loan, and became the No. 1
salesperson.
A former member of Shaarit Haplaytah,
he also belonged to B'nai B'rith and was
a Motor City Club Metro member. Every
Sunday, he bought four dozen roses for
his wife. Family and tradition meant the
world to him. A true warrior and survivor,
he fought till the end.
Mr. Raiber is survived by his daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Frieda and Jay Igol
of Farmington Hills, Lili and Les Gold
of Bloomfield Township, Esther and
Frank Rosner of Bloomfield Township;
sister, Faye Grauman; brother-in-law and
sisters-in-law, Jacob and Linda Mitchell,
Helen Raiber; grandchildren, Nikki Igol,
Ashley and Jordan Broad, Seth and Karen
Gold, Jeremy and Hayley Rosner, Arielle
and Matt Howes; great-grandchildren,
Evan Broad, Madison Broad, Brady Gold,
Sydney Gold, Riley Gold, Ethan Rosner;
many loving nieces, nephews, other rela-
tives and friends.
Mr. Raiber was the beloved husband
for 57 years of the late Mania Raiber; dear
brother and brother-in-law of the late
Bernard Raiber, the late Barek and the late
Hella Rajber, the late Jakob and the late
Shelly Rajber.

Temple Shir Shalom, 3999 Walnut Lake
Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323.
Interment was held at Hebrew Memorial
