On the heels of the success of the spa's Novi location, which opened in 2011, the brand-new MassageLuxe is celebrating with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand-opening event on Thursday, Oct. 16 (proceeds from raffle-ticket sales will benefit Susan G. The ceremony will be attended by special guest Lydia Sarfati, founder of Repechage Skin Care, a Polish-born esthetician and author (and daughter of Holocaust survivors) who is credited with introducing seaweed-based skin treatments in the United States, and whose collection will be available at the spa. MassageLuxe will offer treatments, including Swedish, hot stone, deep tissue, prenatal, sports massage, aromatherapy and more. MassageLuxe also incorporates its sister brand, FaceLuxe, which also offers state-of-the-art facials, micro- dermabrasion, glycolic peels and more. Still a staple for comfort and ease of styling, overalls also share an element of the glamorous jumpsuit — transition- ing effortlessly from day to night with a simple change of shoes, shirt or jewels. You can style them comfortably with sneakers and a T-shirt or cuff them with a great pair of booties and wear them out at night. Don't think, 'I've worn them once; I can't go back:" she says.
