Farms, died Sept. 29, 2014.
She is survived by many dear and lov-
ing friends.

MAY SABAROFF DAVIDSON, 93, died
Sept. 30, 2014.
She lived a long and productive life,
entirely in the Detroit area. She was a
third-generation working mother, begin-
ning in co-op nursery schools then public
schools, and finally preparing teachers at
Wayne County Community College. She
loved all kinds of needle crafts, read con-
stantly and traveled extensively. She was
dedicated to the movement for peace and
social justice, and sang for many years in
the Jewish Folk Chorus.
Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death
by her husband, Morris Davidson, Ph.D.;
and her two brothers, J. Bernard and
Arnold Sabaroff.
She is survived by her children, Khaya
Davidson and Edward Liddy, Tessa and
Norm Brittenham; two grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren; one great-great-
grandchild.
SALLY DAVIS, 84, of
West Bloomfield, died

LEO S. KEEPS, 95, of
Southfield, died Sept. 29,
2014.
At the age of 95, he
was still working daily at
the Wolverine Packing
Company as a sales-
man. Mr. Keeps had a

cultural economics from Michigan State
University and began his career in his
family's wholesale meat business.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years,
Frances B. Keeps; daughter and son-in-
law, Erica J. Keeps and Dr. Harold D.
Stolovitch of California; sons, Charles E
Keeps and partner, Anthony Burke, of
West Bloomfield and David A. Keeps of
California; sister, Harriette Schwartz; niec-
es, nephews and a world of friends.
He was the dear brother-in-law of the
late Max Schwartz, the late Norman Ross,
the late Ruth and the late Jack Birnberg,
and the late Ellen and the late Jack
Vorzimer.
