"All of the money raised goes to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America to fund its camp program for children as well as to expand awareness of these two chronic and debilitating health conditions," said Fried, a West Bloomfield CPA, who has nobly fought IBD while embrac- ing his love for cycling. This year's charity bike event drew 56 cyclists, walkers and volunteers to Kensington Metropark near Milford on Aug. 16. The course extends up to three laps around the 8.4-mile rolling, wooded, paved trail that meanders around Kent Lake. Fried has raised at least $82,000 for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. His cumulative fundraising goal is $100,000. ❑ To donate: online.ccfa.org/ paulfried2014charityrideforccfa
