"From the moment we walked in
the door, we knew Beth Ahm would
be our home. We were greeted
warmly and welcomed into the
Beth Ahm family. There were no
barriers. We quickly developed
friendships and immersed ourselves
in synagogue life. Our children feel at
home and are excited to participate.
We are active and proud members
who want to share our synagogue
with you.

We invite you to experience Beth
Ahm by joining us on Shabbat or at
an upcoming event. Please let us
welcome you into the Beth Ahm
family."

Hillel Day School To Open
IDEA Collaborative Center
Hillel Day School of Metro Detroit,
located in Farmington Hills, is set
to unveil the Audrey and William
Farber Family IDEA Collaborative, its
$5 million renovation providing the
school and its students with a hub for
innovation with new science and art
labs, audio/video studios, greenhouse
and "maker space an area allowing
students to utilize the latest technolo-
gies for various projects.
An independent early childhood-
through-eighth-grade community
Jewish day school, Hillel will host a
grand opening ceremony for the com-
munity at the IDEA Collaborative at 7
p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27.
The IDEA Collaborative is the
latest in a series of renovations to
provide the school with state-of-
the-art technology that has been
implemented over recent years. Head
of School Steve Freedman called the
IDEA Collaborative "the achievement
of our dream:'
He added, "It is a testament to
the confidence our partners have in
the mission and vision of Hillel Day
School and its critical role in ensuring
a vibrant future of the Jewish com-
munity
"This year, with the transforma-
tion of our physical space, that will
be especially true. We've got a lot of
exciting things going on:'
Funding for the IDEA Collaborative
was made possible by a gift of the
Farber family to the Centennial
Fund, the Jewish Federation of Metro
Detroit's fund to secure community
strength for future generations.
Entering its 56th year, Hillel Day
School has 550 students in grades
pre-K through 8. For more informa-
tion on the school and the IDEA
Collaborative, visit HillelDay.org .
