BEATRICE M. STEIN, 83, of Farmington Hills, formerly of Detroit and Southfield, died Aug. 4, 2014, in Whitehall of Deerfield in Illinois. Stein She was born May 20, 1931, in Detroit. A graduate of Detroit Central High School and Wayne State University, she was a teacher, business owner and real estate agent. She was most happy being a wife and mother and would do any- thing for her family. Mrs. Stein was a longtime member of Temple Israel, an avid Detroit Tigers fan, and she loved to travel with her husband. Mrs. Stein is survived her chil- dren, Stephen Stein, Gary (Monique) Stein and Sharon (Daniel) Meyer; brother, Dr. Sheldon (Phyllis) Stoffer; grandchildren, Eric (Aimee) Stein, Ariel Stein, Dava Stein, Aliyah Stein, Melissa Meyer and Marc Meyer; niec- es, Miera Aliyah and Lori (Reuben) Rashty, Marilyn Ripson; many other family members and friends. She was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Mary Stoffer; sister of the late Lillian Stoffer; wife of the late Lawrence M. Stein. Contributions may be made to the Friendship Circle, breast cancer research or to a charity of one's choice. Interment took place at the Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale. Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel. NATHAN "NATE" STONE, 82, of Farmington Hills, died Aug. 5, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Stone; daughters and sons-in-law, Stone Adrienne Ruby Fink and Herschel Fink of Orchard Lake, and Linda and Harold Dudley of Lake, Mich.; grandchildren, Eric Ruby, Jonathan Ruby, Brian Ruby, Sheri Fink, and Marc and Inna Fink; great- grandchildren, Levi Fink and Leah Fink; brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert Stone of West Bloomfield, Raymond and Linda Stone of Farmington Hills, and Stuart and Fay Stone of West Bloomfield; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Stone was the dear father-in-law of the late Edward Ruby; the loving brother of the late Joseph Stone; the dear brother-in-law of the late Richard Rubin and the late Dorothy Stone.
