or daughter at the Games and ArtsFest,
there's plenty to do in the area. Here are
some fun spots for you to eat, explore and
have a fun time in Metro Detroit.

The Detroit Zoo is a summer favorite for
Metro Detroit residents. Some interesting
exhibits include the Arctic Ring of Life,
Reptile House and Penguinarium.

Check out Glow Nights at the West Bloomfield Adventure Park.

Detroit, look no further than Belle Isle.
The island park includes an aquarium,

Imagine lacrosse on bumper cars and you
have whirlyball. It is played with five play-
ers on each team. It's located on the west
side of the SoccerZone building on the
corner of Grand River and Meadowbrook.

Jerusalem Pizza

Located in the lobby of the JCC, this
kosher pizza restaurant also serves salads,

fish, sandwiches and calzones.

Siegel's Deli

3426 E. West Maple Road
Commerce Township

This deli, located just a mile down from
the JCC, offers hot soups and stacked-high
sandwiches. A particular favorite at Siegel's
is its corned beef.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt

For a cold, kosher treat, try Orange Leaf.
This self-serve frozen yogurt shop lets you
pick your combination of flavors and top-
pings.

American Bulk Food

American Bulk Food offers a wide variety
of candy, nuts and coffee, available in bulk.
You can also cool off with a cone of soft-
serve ice cream.
