Senior Dream Cruise
In West Bloomfield
The annual Senior Dream Cruise at
Jewish Senior Life's Applebaum cam-
pus in West Bloomfield is not only a
magnificent parade of classic cars and
summer treats; it's also a drive down
memory lane for the hundreds of older
adults who gather to watch some of
their favorite automobiles cruise by.
Every summer, JSL brings the Dream
Cruise to its residents who can't travel
across town for the Woodward Dream
Cruise. Just days before the beloved
Woodward event, more than 60 clas-
sic cars cruise through the Eugene &
Marcia Applebaum Campus in West
Bloomfield, bringing the thrill of cruis-
ing Woodward to an appreciative audi-
ence, who, in many cases were there
when these cars were built and cruised
city streets.
This year, the Senior Dream Cruise,
which takes place at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Aug. 12 (rain date: Aug. 13), will also
include tours of the JSL residences all
through the day, for interested and
inquiring individuals and their families.
