She is survived by her

and Tanya and Trevor Gordon; great-neph-
ews, Eli and Jesse Nussbaum; other loving
relatives and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Laurence Katz; the devoted daughter of the
late Joseph Cohen.

Berkeley Springs, W. Va., died June 25, 2014.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy
Levey; sons, Michael Brune and Christopher
Brune; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard
and Carey Levey, Neal and Vickie Levey.
Interment was held at the Beth El
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.

EMMA SCHWARTZ,
99, of West Bloomfield,
died July 25, 2014.
Prior to retirement in
1977, she was the owner
of Markay's Children's
Shop in Madison
Heights.

Mrs. Schwartz is sur-
vived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Martin and Barbara Schwartz; daughter
and son-in-law, Karen and Barry Cohen;
grandchildren, Kenneth and Jennifer
Schwartz, Amanda and Ryan Flannigan,
Michelle and Michael Boyle, and Meredith
Fleischer; great-grandchildren, Andrew
and Michael Schwartz, Owen and Jonah
Flannigan, and Norah Love Boyle; many
nieces and nephews.
She was the beloved wife of the late Irwin
Schwartz; the last of four children of the late
Meyer and the late Anna Layefsky.
Interment was at Workmen's Circle
