enneth and Carol Holtzman of
West Bloomfield are delighted to
announce the engagement of their
daughter Marissa Holtzman to Nate Heeren,
son of Valery Heeren of Lake Forest, Ill., and
the late Jack Heeren.
Marissa is a graduate of the University
of Michigan and National Louis University,
with a master's degree in elementary edu-
cation. She is a kindergarten teacher in
Chicago.
Nate graduated from the University of
Michigan and DePaul University with a
master's of science and accountancy. He is
a mergers and acquisitions consultant in
Chicago.
Marissa is the granddaughter of Gladys and Arthur Sweet of Farmington Hills,
and the late Sarah and the late David Holtzman. Nate is the grandson of the late
Sally and the late Harry Croswell, the late Jack Heeren Sr., and the late Vivian
Orr.
A September 2014 wedding is planned in Chicago.
