She is survived by many lov-

She was the beloved wife of the
late Sidney Seder; the dear sister of
the late Esther and the late Samuel
Beznos, and the late Samuel Sears.

FRANCES
MARION SONNE,
96, of Porter
Ranch, Calif., died
June 2, 2014.
She was born
and raised in
Detroit. For more
Sonne
than 40 years,
Fran was the "do
everything for everybody" front-
desk receptionist at the Jewish
Community Center. Her career
began at the Davison JCC, con-
tinued from the grand opening to
the closing of the Meyers JCC and
ended at the West Bloomfield Hills
JCC in her early 80s. When she
wasn't at the JCC, Fran could be
found at Brody's Knee-High Shop
on 9 Mile Road, where she helped
squeeze the "huskies" into fashion-
able school clothing and bar mitz-
vah suits.
Franny had a heart of gold
and always had a kind word and
a bright smile for those around
her. She spent her last years in an
assisted living home, which gifted
her with many friends that were
all very dear to her. She was a very
special, very generous person and
will be sorely missed.
Mrs. Sonne was the caring wife of
the late Marcus Sonne; the devoted
mother of David (Pamela), Keith
(Sherry), and the late Barry. She
was a special grandma to Josh,
Courtney, Jennifer, Matheu and
Michael; a loving aunt to many
nieces and nephews. She also leaves
her sisters-in-law, Mary Blitz and
Dorothy Sonne, both of whom she
was very fond.
Services were held at Eden
Memorial Park in Mission Hills,
Calif. Those wishing to may plant a
tree in Fran's honor in Israel.

HELEN ANN
STIEBEL, 86, of
Huntington
Woods, died June
4, 2014.
She is survived
by her daughter
and son-in-law,
Stiebel
Sandra and Dr.
David Kirsch of
Huntington Woods; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Dr. Alan and Teri Stiebel
of West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Dr. Joel and Dr. Sarah Kirsch, Lauren
Kirsch, Brian Kirsch, Joshua Stiebel
and Zachary Stiebel.
Mrs. Stiebel was the beloved
wife of the late Hart H. Stiebel; the
loving sister of the late Solomon
Budney; the dear sister-in-law of
the late Alice Budney; cherished
daughter of the late Isadore and the
late Anna Budney.
Interment was at Beth El
Memorial Park Cemetery.
