Scholarship Fundraiser

Aish HaTorah's cycling event helped raise funds
for upcoming Mega-Mission of Moms.

A

ish HaTorah of Huntington Woods' first annual cycling event attracted
more than 125 cyclists of all skill levels. It took place at Kensington
Metro Park on May 18, which was Lag b'Omer. The ride consisted of
four activities: an 8-mile family ride around Kent Lake, mountain biking at Island
Lake State Park, a quarter-century and half-century rides.
After the ride, the participants feasted on a gala barbecue by Jewel Catering
and were entertained by Eli Blumenkehl.
The purpose of this ride was to raise scholarship funds for the Mega-Mission of
Moms that will take place in December, sending 100 local moms to Israel.
