dele and Alvin Nodler of Oak
Park, along with their chil-
dren, Harold and Leslie Nodler,
and Michael and Dana Nodler, and their
grandchildren, Rachel, Danielle, Joshua
and Rebecca Nodler, celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary during Shabbat ser-
vices and a luncheon at Congregation Beth
Shalom on March 15. Many of the original
wedding party were there to celebrate with
extended family and other friends.

Lisa and Donald Dreyfuss of
Bloomfield Hills and Linda and
Howard Owen of West Bloomfield

their children Heidi Joanne Dreyfuss and
Jared Ryan Owen.
Heidi received her bachelor's and master's
degrees from the University of Michigan and
works at the Beaumont Health System as a
certified genetic counselor.
Jared graduated from Michigan State
University and is a financial consultant at
the Hantz Group.
An August 2014 wedding is planned.

orma and Phillip Layne of West
Bloomfield were married on D
Day, June 6, 1944, while Phillip
was serving in the U.S. Army. They are the
parents of Renee (Dr. Joel) Stillman, Michael
(Judy) Layne, Heidi (Jeff) Baill, and Mindy
(Dr. Joel) Young; and are grandparents
to Jon, Sara, Andrew, Margo, Josh, Ben,
Katie and Emily, and great-grandparents to
Jackson, Charlotte, Hudson and Mackenzie.
