Now, during the "*1 week she would have turned 70 years old, the many people she worked with in the community are dedi- cating a week of "doing good deeds" in her Linda Lee memory. The designat- ed week is May 25-31. Acts of kindness in Linda's memory could be as simple as calling to find out how someone is feeling, donating to a charity or assisting the infirm — or more activist roles in fostering equality or raising awareness of pancreatic cancer. Joining in will be individuals, for example, from the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning, the Jewish Community Center, Federation's Agency for Jewish Education and Women's Philanthropy, Hebrew Free Loan, as well as others from throughout the community. Participants are invited to share their efforts and read how others are honoring this week on the website www. caringbridge.org/visit/lindalee4. ❑ Dallas Pillen Detroit Jewish News Foundation Fellow The Jewish Comommit CommilorldetropolitanDe trait elected Marian Shit , fi rer an We.
