Jerome L. Schostak

1933 - 2014

For over 60 years, Jerry's
visionary leadership, innovation, integrity
and passion for excellence have influenced
and inspired all who knew him.

His example of extraordinary generosity
spans generations. While helping others, he has
made a lasting impression on our community and
in the lives of so many individuals.

ALBERT "AL"
FISCHER, 96, of

Farmington Hills,
died April 28,
2014.
He lived in
Detroit, went
to Central High
Fischer
School and
attended Wayne
State University. While in World
War II, he fought in the Battle of
the Bulge. He had his own insur-
ance business, was a devoted
member of Temple Israel and was
a docent for 20 plus years at the
Holocaust Memorial Center.
Mr. Fischer is survived by his
loving wife of 72 years, Marti
Fischer. He was the adoring father
of Sherry Zeiger, the late Robert
(the late Nancy) Fischer and Susan
(Christopher) Tarnas. He is also
survived by his grandchildren,
who were the love of his life, Josh
Zeiger, Evan and Emily Fischer,
and Skyler and Dylan Tarnas. He is
also survived by dear nieces, neph-
ews and friends.
Interment was at Beth El
Memorial Park. Contributions

West Bloomfield, died May 3, 2014.
She is survived by her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Dana and
Marc Biederman of Agoura Hills,
Calif., Teri and Wayne Weintraub
of West Bloomfield, Debbie and
Mark Blumhardt of Westlake
Village, Calif.; sister-in-law,
Goldie Fogelman; grandchildren,
Adam and Ryan Biederman,
Michael (Randi) Weintraub, Carly
Weintraub (fiance, Dan Maruska),
David Weintraub, Jamie and Jason
Blumhardt; great-grandchild, Jack;
many other loving family members
and friends.
Mrs. Fogelman was the beloved
wife of the late Leo Fogelman; sis-
ter of the late Arthur Sweet and the
late Lawrence Sweet.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment
took place at Machpelah Cemetery
in Ferndale. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
