Shoshana Sivan is the granddaughter of Arlene and Harry Richman of Omaha, Neb., Mildred and Edward Rosenbaum of West Bloomfield, and the late David Spinner. Shoshana is a seventh-grader at Smith Middle School in Chapel Hill, N.C. For her mitzvah project, she has been working all year to sup- port a two-generation family of eight Burmese Karin refugees.
