She is the daughter of Marci and Steve Rotenberg and the sis- ter of Max and Logan. Proud grand- parents are Rena and Larry Singer, Zona and Richard Ribiat, and Emily and Norman Rotenberg of Lake Mary, Fla. Sydni is a student at Dunckel Middle School in Farmington Hills. Her most meaningful mitzvah project was volunteering at the Bottomless Toy Chest, wrapping gifts for terminally ill children. Max Dylan Roth will be called to the Torah at Temple Shir Shalom in West Bloomfield on Friday, May 9. He is the son of Melissa and Dirk Roth and Roth the brother of Emily and Jack. Proud grandparents are Laura and Burton Roth of West Bloomfield, and Doris and Ludwig Overdick of Frankfurt, Germany. Max attends Oak Valley Middle School in Commerce Township. Among his mitzvah projects, he has spent Sunday mornings as a teach- ing assistant for third-graders at Shir Shalom. Jayme Ann Starr, daughter of Wendy and Brian Starr, will lead the congrega- tion in prayer at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Friday, May 9, as she Starr celebrates her bat mitzvah. Joining in her simchah will be her sister Erin, grandparents Lloyd Starr, Hilary Mellin, and Candy and Terry Rosen, and great-grandmother Irene Mellin. She is also the granddaughter of the late Arlene Starr. Jayme is a student at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills.
