Welcoming Seder
ore than 50 Kadima clients
joined together in song and
good spirits as they were wel-
comed to a Passover seder April 11 by the
Temple Israel Brotherhood.
Led by Rabbi Marla Hornstein and
Cantorial Soloist Neil Michaels, the
clients remembered the Exodus from
Egypt, enjoyed traditional Passover
foods and celebrated freedom together
with Brotherhood members and several
Kadima staff.
"The Haggadah says 'Let all who
are hungry come and eat:" said Eric
Temple Israel Brotherhood hosts a seder for
Kadima clients before the holiday.
Adelman, Kadima executive director. "By
welcoming Kadima's clients into their
congregation for an evening of food,
song and celebration, the Temple Israel
Brotherhood and clergy demonstrate to
our community the power of the Passover
holiday."
Jack, a Kadima client, said, "I loved the
way the cantor and rabbi led the seder"
Terri, another Kadima client, reported
that she "loved the warmth of the seder
and the welcoming atmosphere"
"It was a wonderful feeling learning
about the Passover tradition:' she said. ❑
