Peter Gierer of Mount Sinai, N.Y.,
are thrilled to announce the engagement of
their children Dr. Daniel Seidman and Dr.
Jacqueline Gierer.
Danny earned his B.S.E. in mechani-
cal engineering from the University of
Michigan and his D.O. and M.P.H. degrees
from Nova Southeastern University in
Florida. He is a resident physician in fam-
ily medicine at St. John Providence Health
System.
Jacqui earned her B.S. in biology and
B.A. in psychology from the University of Delaware and her D.O. degree from
NYCOM in New York. She is a resident physician in internal medicine at
Beaumont Hospital.
Following an August wedding on Long Island, the happy couple will reside in
Royal Oak.

Pepper.
Caryn is a graduate of George Mason
University, where she studied tourism and
events management. She is employed as an
event planner and conference coordinator at
the American Bankers Association.
Jon is a graduate of Washington University
in St. Louis and holds master's degrees from Virginia Tech and the University
of Virginia in curriculum development and educational administration. He is a
science teacher and the dean of students at George Mason High School in Falls
Church, Va.
The couple reside in Arlington, Va., and are planning an August wedding in
Annapolis, Md.

Farmington Hills announce the
engagement of their daughter
Shayna Beth to Bradley Louis Millman, son
of Arlene Millman of West Bloomfield and
the late Mark Millman.
Shayna received both her bachelor's
in psychology and her master's in social
work from the University of Michigan. She
works as the youth director at Beth Hillel
Congregation Bnai Emunah in Wilmette, Ill.
Bradley also received his bachelor's in
psychology from the University of Michigan.
He attends the Adler School of Professional
Psychology in Chicago, Ill., where he is working toward his doctor of psychology.
They met on Detroit Federation's Teen Mission to Israel in 2006. An August
2014 wedding is planned in Bloomfield Hills.
