her parents, Jennifer and Jerry
Grodsky, and her sister Rachel.
Rebecca is the granddaughter of Anita
and Elliott Grodsky, and Marsha and
Thomas Bryant.
Rebecca is in the seventh grade at
East Middle School in Farmington
Hills. Since habitat protection and
animal welfare have always been
important to Rebecca, she researched
the conservation efforts of Dr. Jane
Goodall and volunteered with local
animal welfare and conservation
groups for her mitzvah project.

Heather Dalya
Stoddard (Hadarra
Dalya) of Oak Park
will become a bat
mitzvah at Temple
Beth El in
Bloomfield Township
on Saturday, April 5.
Participating in the
ceremony will be her
parents, Dr. David and Sheryl
Stoddard, and her siblings Mallory and
Steven. Proud grandparents are
Solomon and Barbara Margolis of
West Bloomfield, and Linwood and
Marylou Stoddard of Ann Arbor.
Heather is a seventh-grade student
at Norup International School in Oak
Park. Her mitzvah projects included
volunteering at the Friendship Circle
in West Bloomfield.

with her parents,

Stoller, will celebrate
her bat mitzvah on
Saturday, April 5, at
Temple Emanu-El
Stoller
in Oak Park. Sharing
in her celebration
will be her siblings, Nicholas, Zoe and

She is named for her paternal great-
grandfather Thomas Friedman and
her maternal great-grandparents
Shirley and Joe (Yochanan) Finkel.
Also welcoming her home are grand-
parents Suzanne Rosen, Marcia and
Marty Friedman, and great-grand-
mother Sonia Garfield.

Landon; and grandparents, Judi and
Ken Stoller, and Patricia Righettini.
Hannah is also the granddaughter of
the late Gary Righettini.
Hannah is a student at Royal Oak
Middle School. Among her many
meaningful mitzvah experiences, she
has been volunteering at Yad Ezra in
Berkley, taking a hands-on approach
to helping many needy families in our
Jewish community.

Madeline Brooke
Weiner, daughter of
Marlana and Howard
Weiner and sister of

she celebrates her
bat mitzvah at
Weiner
Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on
Friday, April 4. She is the grandchild of
Sema Lazar and the late Alton Lazar,
Michael Weiner and the late Eileen
Weiner, and the great-grandchild of
Lillian Benkoff.
Madeline attends 0. E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
Among her many mitzvah experiences,
she found her most meaningful to be
volunteering at the Marvin and Betty
Danto Healthcare Center in the activi-
ties department, where she assisted the
residents with bingo, hand massage,
manicures and cooking.

Daniel Isaac Zivian
(Daniel Yitzak) of
West Bloomfield was
called to the Torah at
Temple Shir Shalom
in West Bloomfield
Saturday, March 29.
He is the loving son
Zivian
of Bob and Debra
Zivian and the
grandson of Joseph and Gertrude
Grossman, Etta Zivian and Mark
Zivian.
Daniel is a seventh-grade student
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. He has
raised money for several years for the
National Kidney Foundation and is
serving as the national ambassador
for this year's Kidney Walks that take
place around the country.
