Bloomfield as she cele-

Her grandparents are
the late Alice and the late Hyman
Gilman, and the late Virginia and the late
Edward Kaptor.
Jenna is a student at Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. As part of her
mitzvah experience, she orchestrated
a school project to fight breast cancer,
which she found to be very meaningful.

Allie Rebecca
Lumberg will become
a bat mitzvah at
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield on Saturday,
March 22. She will be
joined by her proud
parents, Sandy and
Lumberg
Michael Lumberg,
along with her brother
Jared. Also celebrating with Allie will be
her grandparents Rozzie and Leon Klein,
and Sherri and Edward Lumberg.
Allie is a student at O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills. For
her mitzvah project, she collected food
and toys for Last Day Dog Rescue, which
she found to be very meaningful.

Lily Michelle
Mendelson of
Huntington Woods will
become a bat mitzvah
at Temple Beth El in
Bloomfield Township
on Saturday, March 22.
Participating in the
Mendelson
ceremony will be par-
ents Dr. Jeffrey and
Mrs. Anne Mendelson and Lily's brother,
Eli. Proud grandparents are Martin and
Gale Stolzenberg, and Phyllis and Dr.
Herbert Mendelson.
Lily is a seventh-grade student at
Detroit Country Day School in Beverly
Hills. For one of her mitzvah projects,
she asked her friends to donate English
books for the Gilad School in Nazareth
Mit, Israel, as her bat mitzvah gift.

Olivia Baylee Singer

become a bat mitzvah
at Temple Shir
Shalom in West
Bloomfield on
Saturday, March 22.
Sharing in the simchah
Singer
will be her parents,
Robert and Amy Singer.
Olivia is the sister of Zachary and Jordyn.
She is the granddaughter of Leonard and
Carol Singer, and Beverly and the late
Howard Goldberg.
One of her mitzvah projects was
opening up a free clinic with her family

(DermHouse) for people in need of medi-
cal assistance in dermatology. She works
there every Saturday and is in charge of
appointments.

Alexandra Paige Van
Loon will become a
bat mitzvah at Temple
Israel in West
Bloomfield on Friday,
March 21. She will be
joined by her proud
parents, Rebecca and
Van Loon
Jeffrey Van Loon, along
with her brother Joel.
Also sharing in her simchah will be her
grandparents Candy and Terry Rosen,
Dianne and Ron Kuchar and great-grand-
parents Fern Lutz, Leonora Kuchar and
Raymond Jagodzinski. Alexandra's late
great-grandparents are Samuel Lutz, Ted
Kuchar and Mary Jagodzinski.
Alexandra is a student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield.
Among her many meaningful mitzvah
experiences, Alexandra donated funds to
Fragile X Foundation to assist those with
Fragile X syndrome (FXS), a genetic con-
dition that causes intellectual disability,
behavioral and learning challenges and
various physical characteristics.

Alec Wolfe Vincent,
together with his par-
ents, Tracey and
William Vincent, will
celebrate his bar mitz-
vah on Saturday, March
22, at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield.
Vincent
Sharing in his celebra-
tion will be his siblings
Charlie, Joshua and Jamie; and grandpar-
ents Linda and Harvey Wolfe. Alec is the
brother of the late Jessica Vincent and the
grandson of the late Mary Virginia and
the late Dr. John Vincent.
Alec attends Abbott Middle School in
West Bloomfield. Of his many mitzvah
projects, he found the most meaning-
ful to be helping to organize the SMA
Annual Run in memory of his sister
Jessica to raise funds for spinal muscular
atrophy research.

Emma Claire
Zdrojewski was called
to the Torah as a bat
mitzvah on Sunday,
March 2, at
Congregation Beth
Ahm. Emma Claire, a
seventh-grader at Hillel
Zdrojewski
Day School of Metro-
politan Detroit in
Farmington Hills, is the daughter of Alisa
Zee and Randy Zdrojewski. Her sisters
Tara, Rana and Zoe, along with grand-
parents Cel and Jerry Liebman, were
thrilled to share in this simchah.
Emma Claire loves all animals and
enjoys ongoing participation in Horses
Heal Hearts of Michigan, a nonprofit-to-
be dedicated to lifting the spirits of those
in need.
