LINDA SHAPIRO, 65, of Canoga Park,
Calif., died March 6, 2014.
She is survived by her brother and
sister-in-law, Robert Shapiro and Diane
Zogut of Southfield; sister, Cynthia
Chafetz; cousins, Robert and Maxine
Carson; many other loving cousins,
family members and friends.
Ms. Shapiro was the sister-in-law of
the late Robert Chafetz.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment
took place at the Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.

DR. DONALD I.
SPEYER, of Royal
Oak, died March 5,
2014.
He was a gradu-
ate of Michigan State
University and the
Chicago College of
Speyer Osteopathy.
Dr. Speyer was a lifelong student
of Shotokan Karate, in which he held
a third-degree black belt. He will be
dearly missed by his family and a large
group of lifelong friends.
Dr. Speyer was the beloved father of
Kevin Speyer and Stephanie Speyer;
grandfather of Ethan Speyer and Malia
Speyer; brother of Carol Bauer; uncle of
Debby McCullough and Dana Bauer.
A memorial service will be held at a
later date. Contributions may be made
to the American Stroke Association.

He was the owner

Dynamic Car Care
on Northwestern
Highway in

Farmington Hills.
Mr. Stamell is survived by his wife of
33 years, Adrienne Stamell; daughter
and son-in-law, Robin and Peter Fisher
of Traverse City; sons and daughter-
in-law, Erik and Jacqueline Stamell
of Bloomfield Hills, and Jake Stamell;
grandchildren, Zoe Fisher, Ali Fisher,
Alex Stamell, Bradley Stamell and
Charlie Stamell; sisters, Rhoda Stamell,
Sheila van der Marck and Marcia
Stamell; mother-in-law, Yola Davis;
brother-in-law, Rand Davis.
He was the devoted son of the late Dr.

Tischler.
