Pesach Recipes Create
'A Tapestry Of Taste'
Chef Elwin Greenwald from Elwin
and Company in Berkley will
demonstrate preparations of deli-
cious traditional and innovative
Passover dishes at 2 p.m. Sunday,
March 23, at Temple Emanu-El in
Oak Park.
The workshop will review
various traditions, including
Sephardic and Ashkenazic obser-
vances, explain the meaning of
Passover symbols and provide
interesting suggestions for prepar-
ing seder tables. Samples will be
available for tasting, and attendees
will receive a booklet containing
recipes from the demonstration.
This program is an effort of
Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood,
Brotherhood and Adult Education
and is in remembrance of Lillian
Greenwald. Bring a "tried-and-
true" family Passover recipe writ-
ten on the front of a 4 x 6-inch
card to be copied for everyone.
Tickets are $18, $36 or $72.
