Ferst of Philadelphia, Pa. Noah Isaac is
named in loving memory of his pater-
nal grandmother Nancy Balick Ferst

mitzvah at Temple

Saturday, March 1.
Participating in the
Dobrusin
ceremony will be his
parents, Eric and Dr.
Shari Dobrusin, and brother Franklin.
Proud grandparents are Sheila
Rissman of West Bloomfield, and
Linda and Dr. Joseph Dobrusin of
Farmington Hills. He is also the
grandson of the late Burton Rissman.
One of his mitzvah projects was
packing food at Forgotten Harvest.

Macy Garrett Field

become a bat mitz-
vah on Saturday,
March 1, at Temple
Beth Emeth in Ann
Arbor. Proud par-

ents are Tori and
Olan Noe. She is
also the daughter of the late Carlton
"Junior" Field. Sharing in the simchah
will be her brother Quincy. Macy is
the granddaughter of Barbara Garrett
and the late Joel Garrett.
Macy is a seventh-grader at East
Arbor Charter Academy in Ypsilanti.
For her mitzvah project, she volun-
teered at the Pet Resort in Belleville
and found this most rewarding due to
her love for animals.

Blayze George Karp, son of Lena
Agree, and Gaal Karp and Pamela
Applebaum, will celebrate his bar
mitzvah at Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield on Friday, Feb 28. He

is the brother of
Molly and Rebecca.
Also sharing in
his simchah will
be grandparents
Arlene and Richard
Agree, and Ilana
and Sam Karp, and
Karp
great-grandmother
Shirley Rosenberg.
Blayze's late great-grandparents
are George and Shirley Agree, and
Edward Rosenberg.
He is a student at the Roeper
School in Bloomfield Hills. For his
mitzvah project, Blayze volunteered
throughout the fall at a Ropes and Zip
Line park, encouraging young chil-
dren to develop skills and confidence.

bat mitzvah during

Shaarey Zedek in
Silverman
Southfield on
Saturday, March 1.
Her proud parents are Jennifer and
Paul Silverman. Sharing in the sim-
chah will be her brothers Nathan and
Levi, and grandparents Lila and Gil
Silverman, Leslie and Robert Golding,
and Renee Dagher and Rick Pulford.
Elated great-grandmothers are Fanny
Zuckerman and Dorothy Golding.
Eliana attends Kingswood-
Cranbrook school in Bloomfield
Hills. She has been performing with
her violin for seniors at Fleischman
Residence in West Bloomfield and at
various local nursing homes, which
she felt was a meaningful mitzvah
project.
