Club of New York and the Birmingham
Society of Women Painters.
Mrs. Gorman was a dedicated vol-
unteer, instructor and mentor at Gilda's
Club for 16 years. She changed the lives
of her students and enriched the lives
of everyone who knew her. No one
could be missed more.
She was born in Detroit to Iry and
Faye Meyers and raised in the kitchen
of her grandmother Ida.
Mrs. Gorman is survived by her hus-
band, Jim, who was fortunate to have
her in his world for 42 years; son, Ian,
a musician and the pride of her life;
her adored-musician daughter-in-law,
Rachel; her athlete brother, Larry.
A memorial service is planned in
March at Gilda's Club. Contributions
