New burger joint opens in Farmington Hills.

n just its second year
in operation, Freakin'
Unbelievable Burgers has
opened a second company-
owned unit at 29206 Orchard
Lake Road in Farmington Hills
(Its first location was opened
in Flint). More than $1 mil-
lion dollars was invested in
the restaurant, which features
cutting-edge technology and
new customization options for
guests.
Digital LCD menu boards were intro-
duced with the new location, allowing
for frequent menu innovation, competi-
tive pricing and seasonal burger pro-
motion. New design elements
include a 4-foot crystal chan-
delier among a modern
and monochromatic
architectural design.
Corrugated metal, intri-
cate tile work and Xenon
pendant lighting have
intensified the upscale feel.
Aside from a growing list of
40+ premium burger toppings, Freakin'
Unbelievable Burgers has also intro-
duced gluten-free buns; fresh-never-fro-
zen black bean burgers featuring fresh

Republic. Go to Detroit! Cohen cites
Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor for its
superior rye bread. And he loves the
bread — soft on the inside and crusty
on the outside — at the Stage Deli in
West Bloomfield. Other local delis made
the cut for their great bread: Steve's Deli
in Bloomfield Township and the Bread
Basket, with locations including Royal
Oak and Southfield. Cohen also believes
that the corned beef found in the Motor

Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers
has garnered national atten-

the "Top 100 Movers &
Shakers" nationwide.
Hours are Monday-
Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m.;
Friday-Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-midnight;
and Sunday 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
Diners can expect to eat for under $10
