of Bloomfield
Hills, died Jan.
18, 2014.
He served
for 21/2 years in
the U.S. Army Jerald Rosenfeld
in Mannheim,
Germany. After his tour of duty,
he enrolled at the University
of Cincinnati, from which he
graduated with a degree in business
administration. He then went
to work in the family auto parts
business in Detroit. After a few
years, he left that business and
worked for several national auto
parts companies.
In 1986, he began work in
regional commercial real estate.
At the time of his death, he owned
a real estate consulting business,
JR Group LLC, specializing in
consulting services provided to
governmental entities. He was
also a real estate broker working
with RecoveryPark, a nonprofit
corporation seeking to bring urban
agriculture to the city of Detroit.
In his spare time, he loved to
play golf, bicycle and play poker.
He was also interested in photog-
raphy.
Mr. Rosenfeld is survived
by his wife, Judith Greenstone
Miller; daughter and son-in-law,
Alison Rosenfeld Kramer and
Evan Kramer of Pennsylvania;
son, Adam Rosenfeld of London,
England; grandchildren, Ariella
and Zimry Kramer; brother,
Robert Clayton Rosenfeld of West
Bloomfield; sister and brother-in-
law, Joyce and Leonard Schiff of
Florida; Judith's children, Andrew
and Ashleigh Miller, Laura Miller
and fiance, Max Miller; former wife
and mother of his children, Carol
Rosenfeld; nieces, nephews, cousins
and a world of friends.
Interment was at Beth El
Memorial Park Cemetery.
