"best" by IN readers gathered at
the Corner Bar at the Townsend Hotel in
Birmingham Dec. 10 to celebrate the JN's
Best Of issue.
Guests decked out in black and white
enjoyed kosher hors d'oeuvres from Chef
Can Kosher Catering in the cozy atmosphere
of the Corner Bar where Best Of winners
picked up their well-deserved accolades.
Kristin Oliver of Providence Hospital
won the ladies' Best Dressed contest. Tanya
Markos-Vanno of the Southfield Chamber
of Commerce got the nod for second place.
Ken Gross of the law firm Thav Gross PC
picked up honors as the best-dressed man
with runner up Ron Elkus of The Shirt
Box in Farmington Hills.
Hundreds of Jewish News readers
chose winners in categories ranging
from restaurants to retail to professional
services that were featured in IN Best
Of issue. Those winners each received a
handsome plaque to display at their place
of business.
