Canada, died Jan. 2,
2014.
He was the owner
of J. Kovinsky &
Sons, a scrap metal

yard in Windsor.
He is survived
by his wife, Brenda
Kovinsky; sons and daughters-in-
law, Milton and Cheryl Kovinsky of
Huntington Woods, and Matthew
and Anna Kovinsky of California;
grandchildren, Hannah and Max
Kovinsky; sister and brother-in-law,
Iris and Robert LaJoie of Florida;
sisters-in-law, Marsha Kowal and
Bonnie Kowal; nieces and nephew,
Jody Kaufman, and Stacey and Mark
Levy, and their children, Josh and
Jourdan Levy.

DR. BERNARD KRAKAUER, 90, of
Austin, Texas, died Jan. 5, 2014.
Always lovingly remembered as
Saba, he was treasured by each of his
progeny and beamed with nachas at
every milestone. He was an esteemed
orthopedic surgeon for more than
50 years; committed to his patients,
he treated them with kindness
and dignity. He was a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek for
more than 50 years.
Dr. Krakauer is survived
by beloved wife, Edith Fay
Krakauer; children, Dr. Yeoshua
and Sarah Krakauer, Dr. Rowena
Krakauer and Marc Miller, Sabrina
Lynn and Dr. William Streusand, and
Melissa Beth Krakauer-Ganz and
Herbert Ganz; grandchildren,
Nir Krakauer, Ora and Noson
Rosenfeld, Noga and Sender Levine,
Yochai and Racheli Krakauer, Tova
and Shmuli Winters, Bracha and
Moshe Elbaz, Yocheved and Akiva
Haimowitz, Yechiel Krakauer, Chana
Rivka Krakauer, Gabriel Tabashnik,
Toby Krakauer-Ganz and Zachary
Krakauer-Ganz; many loving
great-grandchildren; sisters, Anne

He was the cherished brother-in-

law of the late Morris Tenenbaum
and the late Harvey Borlak.

She was the beloved wife of the late
Dr. Jack Kutnick; the cherished mother
of the late Sheldon Kutnick; the loving
sister of the late Beatrice Cohen; and
the devoted daughter of the late Isidor
and the late Yetta Rosenfeld.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial

Adina Furstenberg.
Mrs. Liebow was the loving mother
of the late Steven Liebow; dear sister of
the late June Tarakoff.
