Born in Detroit on April 13, 1941, Marcia was the cherished daughter of Irving and Ida (Ginsburg) Rosenberg. Her family included her sister, Sherryl Winegarden (the late Peter Winegarden) of Scottsdale, Ariz., and her brother, David (Debra) Rosenberg of Farmington Hills, all of whom could depend her and on each other for guidance and love and support. She is survived by those whose lives were enriched by her presence, including her beloved daughter, Cara Lindsay and her partner, David O'Connor of Seattle, Wash., as well as her equally beloved son, Derrick Raynard Burns (Dr. Gina Gregory Burns) of San Mateo, Calif., who were with her at the end. Mrs. Ianni is also survived by extended family from both the Rosenberg and Ginsburg sides. Always in her thoughts were her grandchildren, Maya Sylvia Burns and Jamil Burns, whose accom- plishments in their own lives made her a proud grandmother. Her niec- es, Amy and Melissa Rosenberg, as well as Sherry's kids, Adam (Debra Scheinbein) and Stacie (Dr. Aaron) Wittenberg, were always fond of relating Auntie Marcia stories. Marcia was a favorite great-aunt to Stacie's children, Max and Lucy Hannah. Cousins, more like broth- ers and sisters, are too many to count. No mother could be more proud than was Marcia of her daughter, Cara, whose achievements and suc- cesses in life were always a delight. Burial took place in Gan Shalom in Brier, Wash.
