Feher and Yigal Ran.
Mrs. Weiss was the beloved wife for
57 years of the late Sandor Weiss; loving
mother of the late Leslie Weiss; cher-
ished sister of the late Zev Rein, the late
Yaakov Rein, the late Shimon Rein, the
late Chaim Rein, the late Pearl Ferencz;
dear grandmother of the late Dovid
Schonberger.

EDGAR WEST, 81, of
Southfield, died Dec.
22, 2013.
He and his wife,
Sandra, were the
owners of Argo Fire
Equipment Company
in Detroit. The busi-
ness was sold in 2004
to Cintas.
The Wests have been longtime mem-
bers of Temple Israel.
Mr. West is survived by his wife
of 54 1 /2 years, Sandra West; sons, Dr.
Brandon West of Walled Lake and Dr.
Evan West of Novi; brother and sister-
in-law, Parker and Jean West; sisters-in-

Obituaries
LAWRENCE ZIETZ, 63, of Plantation,
Fla., passed away Nov. 22, 2013.
He grew up in Detroit, graduated from
Cooley Law School, moved to Florida in
1984 and established his law practice.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Darlene Merin-Zietz; children, Jonathan
Zietz and Jessica Zietz; brother and
sister-in-law, Alan and Naomi Zietz;
nephews, Sam and Dave Zietz.
Interment was at Star of David
Memorial Gardens in North Lauderdale,
Fla. Contributions may be made to JARC
